Where possible, we would always encourage attending a controlled
class environment, benefits at 'Classes for Canines' include:

  • Motivates owners
  • Increases self-control in dogs
  • Increases confidence in owners- its a good feeling to know

            you are doing something right!

  • Reward-based training will enhance your relationship
  • Relaxed, but controlled environment

However, there are dogs who won't yet be ready for this confined

environment- these include:

Rescue dogs having recently experienced a major upheavel; shy

or under-confident dogs; and dogs who have recently suffered a

trauma/bad experience and therefore displaying an obvious change in behaviour.

A training session with Vicky, in the comfort of your own home focusing

on specific issues may be just the answer....

CfC home visits and subsequent advice is always structured realistically,

taking into account owners capabilities and time restraints. Visits are

one hour in length, and it your decision as the owner (who knows their

dog better than we do!) how many sessions you feel will be required.

Class participants may also benefit from a home visit inbetween

classes to further general training, or tackle a specific training problem.

Afternoon and early evening appointments subject to availability.

A one hour session costs £25 (extra for mileage if outside of Redditch,

please ask for quote)

Please note:

If your dog's problem is aggression to people or other dogs,

you will need to enlist the help of a qualified dog behaviour

adviser. Your vet should be able to refer you to a

reputable bahaviourist or see http://www.apbc.org.uk/
